There is, like, a fat bird in glasses. He often seems to sit at a typewriter. Maybe he's a reporter or something? He could be an accountant. I have no fucking idea. The last panel of every comic has Shoe(???) staring sort-of out at the reader saying something wistful, all droopy-eyed. I've seen him talk to children, or maybe grandchildren, I think? Maybe he has a son. I don't know.
I find it amazing that I've seen Shoe every Sunday, at least, in a comics page and I still don't know anything about it. Maybe it's secretly really good? Does anyone know? Please fill me in. |
